John, an avid hunter and fisherman, was born and raised in the South Eastern portion of British Columbia, and worked the forest and lumber industry for 35 years.
When not hunting for himself he would guide the local outfitters in the area until becoming part owner of Kootenay Outfitters and taking over the guide outfitters license.
Since 2006, John with his wife Melanie, have operated the business year around in the area. Both have a strong belief in animal management and keep client numbers to a miniumum which means not only higher harvest numbers but the bigger, more mature animals are taken each year. Both John and Melanie have secured a commercial recreation tenure in the area offering horseback trips, hiking and wildlife viewing.

Neil was born and raised in Harrisonburg, Virginia and now resides in Reno, Nevada with his wife Michelle and their two children, Carter and Chase.
Neil earned his Associates Degree from Ferrum College and his Bachelors of Science degree from James Madison University. Since graduating, Neil has run several small businesses concentrating on sales and customer service.
With thirty years of hunting experience all over North America, Neil has an extensive big game hunting background. Neil's hands-on knowledge of hunting provides Kootenay Outfitters' clients assurance of booking a big game adventure with someone who has been there: a true hunter.
As an Owner and Agent for Kootenay Outfitters, Neil handles booking clients and taking care of all paperwork including assistance in making client travel plans, proper government forms and contracts.
