The Kootenay Region of British Columbia is home to a healthy, stable population of Bighorn Sheep. Our Bighorn Sheep hunts are restricted to full curl arms. Given our area borders Banff National Park to the East and Kootenay National Park to the West, hunters have a chance for a true trophy ram. Typical rams are in the 170-180 class range, but our area has produced B&C rams in the past.

Our Bighorn Sheep live in tough terrain and our sheep hunts are not easy. Hunters are required to be in great physical condition and being well prepared will maximize your opportunity to harvest a ram and your enjoyment of the hunt.
We have a limited number of tags based on a quota system and this hunt can be combined with goat and or mule deer.
