CANADIAN Mountain Goat
The most underrated trophy of North America is the Mountain Goat. Our area has some of the best goat hunting found anywhere in North America. Hunter's can expect to harvest mature goats in the 9" to 10" class with heavy bases and great hides. These animals are true trophies!
Opportunity rates are close to 100% over the past give years with only one hunter not getting a shot at a mature billy. Not that we could not find him a goat, but he did not prepare for his hunt and came out of shape, unable to climb, thus going home empty handed.
Our goats live in the high, rough country. Hunters should be prepared with quality equipment and expect to work hard for your trophy. If you come prepared, this will be one of your most exciting hunts ever.
Our area has a stable and healthy population of goats with limited number of tags due to our quota system. If you are looking for a hunt of a lifetime then this is it. This hunt can be combined with elk and or mule deer.
